Otters aren’t born swimmers, they need to be taught just like humans do. Normally that would be mama otter’s job, but little orphan Joey has the staff of the care of the Marine Mammal Rescue Centre to get him used to the wonderful world of wetness. Turn your speakers UP to hear Joey’s adorable protesting! (via Murray C.)
Such fuzzy indignation!
Oh. Oh my god. The chub, the floof, and the squeeeeeks almost destroyed my brain. What an adorable little ottlet.
And, the paws holding the bottle, and the paws hiding his furry face, and the paws, the little fuzzy paws…..gaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh…..ded.
I wonder if I could spin combed-out otter fur into waterproof yarn.
I guess the only way you could find out is by spending a lot of time combing baby otters. Purely in the interests of science, of course.
