Happy elephant shrews are surviving. Watching the elephant lullaby videos is definitely chopping onions. Do not miss the second one. I came close to sobbing. We should have a chopping onions rating system – from one to four chopped onions. The second elephant video is four chopped onions.

They are emojis, but the little rectangles don’t appear for me (Mac, Firefox). All I see are onions and knives. I guess no system is perfect.

The elephant shrew was not lost, just misplaced as my mother used to say. Glad to hear it’s making a comeback. And love that rooster story, how he came to be out there is a back story I’d really need to hear. Oh, the tales he could tell if he could talk.
Scrolling through sleeping dogs…hey, that’s my couch! (I first saw the striped pillow and then the paisley one off to the side, then looked closer at the couch itself.)
