“Brothers and sisters, comes before us now one Brother Thomas, whom they say is possessed by demon spirits. They say he stares at walls for hours as if transfixed by ungodly forces; that he may show love and affection one moment only to viciously attack the next; that he is sometimes so possessed that he runs through his home for no reason.
“And therefore, I place my paw upon head of Brother Thomas, and call upon the vile spirits that torment the innocent body of this righteous feline, and I say unto them: Keep up the good work.”
Ha! 4 painters and I just spent 30 minutes looking for my cat Thomas. He was quite vexed and very possibly possessed when I finally got him and my other self-sequestering cat safely locked in the bathroom. There will be demon casting out later.
Me, after reading the first paragraph: Wait, isn’t that just “being a cat”?
Exactly! Little, furry, possessed
devils.
I prefer to think of them as little aliens and time spent communing with the wall is them communicating with the mother ship.
Cats. Like demons aren’t scared of THEM.
You GOT me at the end with that one, Mike!
