It sounds like chopping, might be carrots… no, wait, it’s definitely just celery… now I’m picking up crinkly bag noises, could be treats, difficult to tell at this distance…

This is GREAT! It really cheered me up.
The sound is me, calling for these two cuties to come to my place. They can raid my refrigerator for treats.
Love it! And both so intent on figuring it out.
Golden brown bunny looks very serious.
I have a bag of rainbow carrots. Happy to share.
For some reason the purple and the white carrots always taste better to me than the orange ones. Not sure if there’s an actual difference in flavor, or if it’s just psychological.
I read that supposedly they’re sweeter, but I’ve never really noticed much difference, at least not consistently. Maybe the yellow ones, but sometimes I get an orange one that’s noticeably sweeter than usual, too. These are purple, yellow, and orange (usually there are more orange than the others but the last couple bags I got actually had more purple and yellow). The yellow and purple tend to be bigger, though.
I also can see it as the brown bun showing that it’s 5:00 somewhere. Letting the other bun know it’s time for their hoomin to have some “refreshments” after a busy day.
Such cuteness. I love the way rabbits tell time, as LuvBunny points out.
Also, now I want cookies ‘n’ creme ice cream.
I want a cinnamon bun.
Let’s each order, and then switch halfway through!
I have a “CinnaBunn” staying with me as we speak. She’s attending Murray’s Bunny Camp and Spa while her people are vacationing. she’s a lovely bunny but with slight cage aggression issues which consist of her responding to a hand or veggies that come into view with a lunge and a grunt. Really rather adorable. But after this display she settles down for a nice scratch.
A lunging/grunting bunny doesn’t sound scary…unless you’re in a Monty Python movie, at least.
Allein, have you ever seen the marginalia from old illustrated manuscripts? There are scads of bunnies performing violent and nefarious deeds. No doubt the Pythons, being a classically educated bunch, were aware of these images – a killer rabbit is not a far stretch!
It’s true. Medieval rabbits were quite fierce. They were also very creative and intelligent.
Would love to see a pic of said CinnaBunn.
I have taken a photo and sent it to NTM to post for me, so hopefully you’ll see the perp soon!
Here’s the picture!
Beautiful markings.
Aww!
Lots of that sugary glaze on this pretty bun.
