Don’t look up a video of the dwarf cow if you have a sensitive heart, I saw one on another site and didn’t like it and it’s why I didn’t send in the story.
Poppy is so precious, just look at her zoom around the dog park in her little wheelchair and playing tug of war with her doberman sister.
I love how the sugar glider grabs on to the finger of the hand of the lady in a bear hug.
I saw the cow story on a different site, and it had a more cheerful tone. The wee bovine is very cute, though, and I hope she has a long life.
One of my coworkers has a sugar glider. Have to ask her about the wee one.

A nice collection of links today. I, too, didn’t know Cole had cancer, but it sure looks like he was treated at the same veterinary oncology center where Melody was examined (with her bone cancer’s location high on her shoulder, there wasn’t any treatment we could give her, unfortunately, except pain relief). We loved them, so if that’s where Cole was indeed treated, I’m glad to hear it. The vet we saw was so gentle and loving, but also completely realistic about everything. I hope Cole has many more years ahead; he and Marmalade have given mea s much pleasure as the rest of you, I’m sure!

I couldn’t see the tiny cow story, but it sounds like I don’t want to. And a warning about a Bored Panda thread on “Absolutely Dumb Drivers” — there were several whose stupid antics involved carrying animals so improperly that I was just outraged. So if you look at it, be warned that it will leave you fuming because some people treat their animals SO horribly!
Laura, it’s so good to hear from you! I’ve been wondering about Yufi (sp?) lately.
Yoofi is still completely goofy and crazy and adorable — except when she’s being a therapy dog, at which point she becomes the perfect girl. I wouldn’t have expected it in a million years! But we really are enjoying her.
We’ve also discovered, with our vet’s agreement, that Sebastian is several years older than his rescuers were told by the backyard breeder/puppy mill. He suddenly has gotten very old, arthritic, and his eyes are failing. But we still love him, of course! He just ends up at the vet regularly for his chronic ear and eye infections, poor baby. But he’s still happy and cute, so we just spend a LOT of time medicating him, washing out his ears, putting goop in his eyes, etc., etc.
Sorry, didn’t mean to ramble on! I’ve been lurking lately, but I’m still here even if I’m quiet. 😇
Oh my goodness – so glad to hear Cole is on the mend. Poor baby! And poor hoomins who have a different understanding of what it happening. Thanks to them for posting this.
