Considered a freak outlier in the rodent family, the Two-Stage Hamster (phodopus ecdysiast) has a larval stage in which it gestates within a protective outer organism, known as the exofloof, before emerging into the world. The exofloof then becomes dormant and can be used for shelter.

Further proof that Mike is a genius.

Googled ecdysiast.
Promptly began my fall-snorting-tea-out-my-nose. It seems to have started early this year.
Maybe I should have added a “don’t be eating/drinking anything” warning…
We need an acronym for that.
or a sign…
I could use an exofloof to crawl into sometimes.
Mike is a genius, and he has just surpassed himself.
Also, I too want an exofloof.
This could be the cutest thing ever. I too want an exofloof. A business for Mike?
