And finally: Get Your Kid, Sharon
fkaWaldenPond shares the worst babysitter.
Aw, I saw the puppy and guitar dad yesterday.
I would be happy to send Storm any snow I might get in the future. Though it’s in the 50s this morning (and very foggy) so I don’t think that’ll happen any time soon.
I AM STORM! I hate warm weather. On the first day of spring I start counting down to the first day of fall.
Yay, finally I’m not alone with this.
So just to clarify. And seriously, I don’t have a problem with your preference. Is it just HOT weather or warm as well?
I’m not big on HOT but warm is perfect for me.
I tolerate the 60s , with a bad grace, but I draw the line at 70.
Well I’m perfectly happy until 15 Celsius.
At the peak of summer (36-38 Celsius) I’m struggling for survival with zero energy. Really I just hide out in the house from April to October and go outside only after dark.
I hate almost everything associated with summer, not just the temperature. Neighbours loudly partying all night long, neighbours mowing the lawn at 4 in the morning because at daytime the heat is unbearable. People getting more agressive in the heat etc.
While in winter we have pleasant weather, empty streets, silence, calm.
36 to 38 C is brutal alright. 🔥
And you sure have a point about summertime noise!
August 28 is a permanently marked day on my computer calendar. That is the date the sunset time here is 8pm, which means it is dark when I go to bed, which says the end of summer to me, and the official start of my favourite time of year. I start counting down about now, too.
Ya know, I was never an anti-heat person really, but becoming a lady of middle age (ah hem) I can’t tolerate the heat like I used to. I’ve been joking about moving to Maine for several years, but that may not be a joke for long.
The guy calling himself a redneck pirate with a chicken on his shoulder made me giggle but where do they live that a random chicken just shows up on their porch?
And I love the cat and baby video, ” I didn’t … I barely even touched him!” LOL!!!
Well, if a random chicken (and rabbit) can show up at the Pentagon, he could really be anywhere.
I’m guessing Tennessee.
Love the worst babysitter!
Notice how gently the cat “warned” the baby away? Smart kitty.
Omg that kitty babysitter! His face looking at the kid then at the camera then back again…..😂
Cat cafe hiring people with disabilities gets all my thumbs up! Everybody in that situation looks so happy and pleased. Even the cats are having fun.
Samoyed Storm is being just as dramatic as a husky. Piggy and doggy BFFs are adorable. Yea to the cat cafe helping out those who generally wouldn’t be hired. There needs to be more programs like this. I think I saw that rooster story either here or someplace else but it’s funny no matter how many times I see it. Cat babysitter is too dang much. Talk about a cat with ‘tude, like that’s unusual, lol.
The young man with Down Syndrome looks so happy working the the Cat Cafe. It’s wonderful.
I finally met Storm and of course he loves the snow with that floofy fur coat! Little Russell stole my heart and he’s not giving it back. Pinky and Baylee are fantastic together–what a great family.
