When I used to click on one of the links it used to open in a new tab but now they open in a new window. Is it just me or has something changed on the site?

  I just clicked one and it opened in a new tab (I’m using Chrome on a PC).

  Nothing should be changed as far as I know. The default behavior for external links should be to open in a new window or tab.

  Middle click forces links to go to new tabs. You can also middle click the tab to close it without having to hit the little X.
  
  In any case, check your browser settings. Sometimes updates revert things for no obvious reason.

      If you’re on a PC, you can also hold down the Ctrl key while clicking a link to open in a new tab. Shift-click will open in a new window.
