Oh, I am a good guard dog, uh-huh uh-huh. My big pointy ears perk up at the slightest sound, and I rush right out to see what’s going on. And if I can’t see, I’ll get on someone’s shoulders, because I’m real smart.

That poor white dog really looks like he’s thinking, “Put down the phone human and get this dork off my head!”
The stepped-on pup’s expression tells me this isn’t the first time this has happened
I would certainly trust those ears to keep me safe, no matter where in the house…or yard…or down the street.. I am.
White doggo maybe not so thrilled about his position on the security team.
(lol at the title on the source: Our “puppy” Moose has roughly half a brain cell. Personal space means nothing. The other dogs simply tolerate him.)
Moose has beautiful fur!
Too funny. There’s always that one in any group of dogs (and occasionally cats too!).
Mike – are you a Bruce (or Mooose) Springsteen fan also? Just that the post title reminds me of the song “Darkness on the Edge of Town? that Springsteen sings.
I’m guessing that it’s a reference to the 1950s play/film “The Dark at the Top of the Stairs”.
