Sorry I haven’t been around to comment but work and the powers that be have had most of our division in Excel training. Since Wednesday. All day, 8 am to 4 pm. The first day was going over the basics, for me it was like sending a Ph.D. graduate back to kindergarten. Yesterday was better but it’s mostly been a refresher course for me, and honestly I really wish they had allowed me to do my regular work. That was my original plan but the big boss wanted 100% participation so I’m being a team player. At least I’ve gotten lunch out of the deal. See everyone tomorrow!
I’ve had meetings/events like that. It’s so draining to pretend to care about that stuff that I usually don’t get much done the rest of the day.
