The Girl With the Dogs takes on a reluctant Maine Coon cat, and between the free-flowing floof and the I-will-end-you death stare, it’s a groom of doom.

She is fearless. Nothing could get me to bathe a Maine Coon.
I’ve been a subscriber to both of GWTD’s channels for a while, and I think she’s got a well-educated, highly experienced ability to gauge the danger level with her grooming charges and to adjust accordingly. Not that I would want to bathe a Maine Coon myself, mind you!
Oh I saw that one yesterday and I wouldn’t want to be on the receiving end of that cat’s death stare, I’d sleep with one eye open if I was it’s human.
I thought Maine Coons liked water!
Actually except for that one ENOUGH!!! moment I thought he was pretty cooperative
I like the little hood thing she put on him. Very effective!
Yeah, I put one in my Amazon shopping cart, along with the space bubble. Two of my boys cannot go to the vet, so when the vet comes to us, these aids might help. Also Lav bites the clippers when I try to trim her death daggers.
They all look so cute in the little hood. I looked them up once and for groomers they help protect their ears from the noise of the dryer, and help wick water away from their ears and face. They can also have a calming effect similar to the thundershirt for things like fireworks and storms.
Rory did very well except for that one scratch. Also GORGEOUS kitkat!
I thought so too, and yeah what a beauty!
The groomer did well with this spicy boy. But as a Maine Coon guardian, I try to comb my beasts daily to prevent matting that leads to a groomer.
