Lions steal handbag, wobbly baby elephant, stray kitten finds a home, and reversing dachshund.
And finally: Always Have a Backup Plan
Aren’t they supposed to beep when they do that, Murray C.?

I bet wobbly bebeh trunkster will be scootin’ in no time..
Doxie does better than me driving in reverse…
That’s a lot of butt to back up. I’m impressed.
Hearty lol at the big cats being…big cats.
Aww at the others. Also, I’m glad I have eyebulbs.
I too struggle to drive in reverse, so doxie’s back-up plan amazed me. And made me laugh.
Oh that baby trunkster! And Stevie and Waffles!!!!
Who pays that much for a purse? Seriously? Glad the lions had fun.
That woman could be the poster-child for “more money than sense.” On the other hand, the article is pretty much a press release for her business. Feh.
Agree to both sentiments.
I have a Fossil bag that retails for around $250; I got it on sale for about $175, and that took me a couple weeks to bite the bullet and get it. I also just bought a small one that was $50 on sale and even that took me a few days once I decided which one I wanted (and I was using hoarded Christmas and birthday money to buy both of them). I can’t imagine spending $1800 on any one item of clothing or accessory. If I ever get married I probably wouldn’t even spend that much on a wedding dress.
There’s two kinds of people in the world: those who brag about how much they spent, and those who brag about how much they saved.
I’m the kind who brags about how I made it myself! Goes for purses and a lot of my clothing.
I usually brag about how much I saved! $250 is more than I would ever pay for a purse, *especially* one that ugly!
WARNING:
Kitten’s BEFORE picture is disturbing. That said, I completely understand the foster fail. I could never care for a little one that intensely and then hand them over to others.
Now he’s got a life of sleeping over the air vents with a best friend. What a happy ending!
Between Stevie an the wobbly baby heffalump, I’m done and the day hasn’t even started. Heffalump looks like she’s trying to figure out how all the appendages work, lol. What a sweetheart Stevie is, so glad he has a forever home with his BFF. Smart kitties too to find the perfect nap spot over by the heating vent AND with a lovely smushy rug to curl up on too! Lady is lucky she even got her bag back from those lions in one piece and with everything still in it. Back-up dachshund is hysterical. Guess they figured it was quicker and easer than trying to turn that long body around on such a narrow ledge.
Little wobbly heffalump is adorable! Still trying to find balance, poor baby. Great to know she will soon have 2 other friends to play with!
Think Dachshund has done that smooth move many times!
?
Love this pic!
Give him a tiny designer handbag to play with!
I want to smooch the tummy!
Stevie has the right idea, I often find Minnie sleeping on the second step of the basement staircase because thereโs a heating vent in the wall right there. Leave it to cats to find the warmest spot in the house.
Bebeh trunkster has wobbled into my heart.
I wouldn’t pay ยฃ10 for that ugly bag if I saw it at a street market. And that’s BEFORE the lions got hold of it!
THANK you.
My mother used to keep books on the bottom shelf of her bedside table but kept finding them on the floor.
Then she realized that it was right in front of the vent so she put a carpet remnant there and found another place for her books.
I have several throw rugs in weird hallway places for the same reason => for our feline overlords.
Love the baby elephant trying to take control of all those legs!
She’s just fabulous. I want to hug her very much.
