I want to take care of a baby wombat!! It’s just so CUTE!! It does hops and twists just like happy buns do☺️ The best part of that video was the extreme bliss on the wombat’s face as it drank the formula—total happiness.
Baby wombat reminds me of a furry toddler, wanting momma’s attention and enjoying bottle and cuddle time. Too cute. Only reason to go back to NYC is the possibility of seeing Flaco.
I am now officially off work til next Wed, 7 full days of doing whatever I want and destressing. It’s wonderful. First project is off to do yardwork while the weather is still good. Storms coming in tomorrow.

If you can’t see Flaco the owl, that doesn’t mean he can’t see you. NYC resident Reilly Richardson found that out the hard way when she discovered the Eurasian eagle-owl—who escaped from the Central Park Zoo in February—outside her window, watching her closely. And that wasn’t a one-off: With his newfound freedom, Flaco has apparently taken to acting like Jimmy Stewart in Rear Window, peeping on unsuspecting neighbors as he reconnoiters Manhattan. One owl expert told the WSJ that it’s possible Flaco sees humans as potential mates. Sweet dreams 🦉.

Yes! I got the hugest laugh out of that, especially the photo of Flaco looking in the window. That FACE! That clip was the only reason I would ever look at the NY Post website!
