Duckie gently clutches puppy as she curls up around it, intending to ward off all efforts to take puppy away.

Oh my gosh, my brain has turned to mush. Good thing I watched at the end of the work day or else I wouln’t be able to continue working. That speckled moo cow puppy is beyond cute and I’m in line too with grabby hands to lay claim to him/her. The other babies are all so adorable as well.
Maxwell has killed me ded with his unbearable qteness.
I hope everyone is warm and cozy like the pups tonight. This storm we’re having in NYC is something else – absolutely crazy winds!
I’m in central NJ and it’s scary! I got home shortly before the wind really started picking up, but driving in the dark and rain was nerve-wracking. Luckily I didn’t hit any flooding. So far my lights have flickered once, very briefly, but my parents’ power went out a couple times (but not for long); they’re only a few miles away. I’ve had my phone plugged in to make sure it stays fully charged just in case, and a flashlight nearby. Things should be calmed down by the time I need to leave for work in the morning, but there was some flooding on my “safer” route last time…
Stay safe. I hope it’s not as bad as it seems.
It actually got very calm a little while ago (a little before 11pm, I guess; it’s 11:20 now and I should be in bed). Hopefully it stays that way. Hourly forecast still shows rain until 3am and wind speeds between 10-20 mph. Can’t hear if it’s actually raining right now.
