Cat, Capy, Cappuccino?

There’s a cafe in Japan with an unusual rodent infestation, and even a room full of cats can’t stand up to it. That’s because the rodent is the star attraction of a cat/capybara cafe. (via Andrew Y.)

As fun as it is to go to a caffe and interact with a capybara they should be treated well and to be happy a capybara in captivity needs to have access to a poll to be happy and I could be wrong but I doubt this one has access to swim in a pool because they seem to be on the second floor of a building.

This is from their Instagram page, so I don’t think they stay in that building all the time

“Mr. Tawashi, you are doing well. 🥕🌱🌽✨ (currently not in the cafe ☺️)
Sugarcane sticking to my teeth lol🦷
I don’t care if the carrot falls in the water lol
      Yummy eating corn lol
Won’t let me take out the cat hair on the wall… 💧”

Well it’s not very big but it’s better than nothing thanks.

They are on the first floor. Capys need water to poop in, so I’m sure it’s out of the way somewhere with the cat litter boxes. That is the thinnest hair I’ve ever seen on a capy! Worries me a bit.

I think a capybara would make a good Secretary General of the UN – world peace wouldn’t be too hard for a capybara to achieve

Reminds me of those old Reeses Peanut Butter cup commercials where two people collide and then complain that they got peanut butter on their chocolate and chocolate in their peanut butter.
