So happy for Mahina and her family. What a long way home for her!
Helena has such a sweet little face. Such big babies!
I saw the nutria video in the sidebar on youtube last night, considered adding it to my watch later list, and then didn’t. I guess someone really wanted me to see it.

Beautiful Helena and her lovely kittens–I’m swooning.
I am that wombat today. If I could have crawled back in bed, I would have.
Looking forward to the nutria so much.

Nutrias look a cross between a beaver and a rat, I had never heard of them before so I did a little reading. They are from South America and in Canada have been spotted in the South of British Colombia. In Ontario they have been classified as an invasive species even if none have been seen there in years!

Huzzah for Mahina! She’s a lucky girl, and so is her family.

I had never heard of Nutria! He is like a capybara/beaver/rat combo! Very cute!
Again, I want to live by a wombat!

They say when the wombat sees his shadow, it means six more weeks of summer

Just met Neuty the nutria and I’m in love. He’s got the best possible life with the best possible people.
