Loon in Las Vegas, cat house in Italy, duck and dogs, and a cow at the wedding.

And finally: Don’t Do it, Becky!

    Love the wedding bomb cow!

OT: Is anyone else having problems with Google Ads? Every time I click on a post to get to comments, the Google Ad opens instead and won’t go away without some difficulty.

My cousin’s daughter got married at a farm in North Carolina. There was a big fenced yard at the wedding venue, and outside the fence the ground went downhill; there were cows at the far end and goats on one side. The ceremony was in the middle of the yard but thankfully all the animals held their peace. (Some of the cows were a little curious, though, and came up to the fence to watch.)

As a birdwatcher, I can tell you that a yellow-billed loon is a holy grail of birds. I’ve seen one in 40+ years. I bet birders from all over are flocking (see what I did there?) to LV!
