Animals that look like food, very large dogs, a boy and his crow, and an elephant encounter.
And finally: No, Honey, You Can’t Eat the Truck

Lippy, Russell, and the baby elephant! Who’s more adorable? Russell appears to be head over paws in love.
Talk about a smitten kitten…
Just met Lippy and Russell–they’re all squeeworthy. Lippy is like my Lav, who sits on my lap all day long when I work from home. Russell is a darling mischievous little crow.
omg!
Frogs are wonderful in general, but these particularly so!
My goodness! They look like spoonsful of jello!
I want a tray of spicy muffins!
OMG that tiny bébé elephant is so precious and mama is so patient but I think the rumbling at the end was from the matriarch and she wasn’t pleased.
I can’t wait to watch it with the sound on! Imagine being that close to a bebeh heff.
If I had a crow, I would definitely name it Russell. Really looking forward to linkies later.
For me all crows are called Randolph after Randolph Flagg from Stephen King’s THE STAND.
That is an amazing elephant encounter! So glad the people did exactly what they were
supposed to do—nothing!!👍🏼 So funny how mama kept trying to pull away the exploring baby trunkster☺️ And what a wrinkly forehead s/he had!
I would be hard pressed to sit still and not try to pet that cutie. Loved mama’s gentle pulling.
I am in awe of the heffalumps!
Cindy Lou and her two little Whos look so sweet.
Okay, all the fruit-
flavoredcolored birbs are so pretty. The baby heffalump is Val with a trunk! I always say that Val sniffs cars like she’s a drug enforcement dog inspecting cars coming over the border from Mexico, lol. And I’m so happy that the people didn’t interfer, just let the bebe do the sniff test. Loved how mom kept trying to drag him/her back, like “All right enough, now you’re just being rude”.
😁😁
on an animal related note, I’m pretty sure those safari guides were having kittens during this encounter.
If mama had blamed the tourist for anything it could’ve gotten very ugly for everyone.
Yes, I got a little nervous when the bigger ellies got close to the car. If they decided they were a threat it would be bad.
I got the distinct impression at one point that mama heffalump made eye contact with the people as if to say “I’m so sorry for this, he’s not usually like this.”
Love the fruit birds.
