At first I was gonna say “hamster”, but seeing that fat tail on the video, he is a gerbil, but a more exotic kind.
He is definitely living his best life! He is very spoiled😉 I certainly hope he doesn’t eat that whole bowl of food in a day tho—he’s tiny! I had gerbils for decades—the usual kind live 3-5years. They are the most amusing animals, and there needs to be 2 cos they get lonely and will not live as long. They are not pets to cuddle—like dwarf hamsters—they are very fast! A safe wheel is a must!
