I saw a story on the news about the surprise baby giraffe at the Maryland Zoo but they didn’t explain how the giraffe got pregnant, turns out she was kept with a herd that had males in it at her previous zoo and was pregnant before she got to Maryland. What a bargain, it’s like getting two for one!
Wow our squirrels are not that nice, a couple of times we found a half eaten apple on the back porch but that’s it no cookie!

Someone call TLC!
I just sent a video that youtube decided to show me; Mike’s article has more info.

I love how the squirrel deposits the cookie and sort of steps back to admire their work, or check, “there, does that look right like that? Will she see it there?” (dusts paws) “yep, yep, that’ll do it.”
I also do not have gifty squirrels. Instead they raid the dumpster at the end of the block then come to the top of my tree to have the picnic and proceed to drop their crumbs all over the yard.
Congrats Kiki!
Seen the squirrel vid before, and am just amazed that a squirrel did that! I know they enjoy treats from their people, but I would never have thought they would understand reciprocation! It’s even an appropriate item a human would eat!

Thanks Allein!👍🏼☺️
Anyone else read the title to the tune of “Suddenly Seymour”?
Absolutely. 🦒
Wouldn’t mind a surprise giraffe right about now! Belly and Button will pierce your soul with their sweet little faces.
It’s nice to have a friendly squirrel for a neighbor.
