A nervous pup visits the Girl with the Dogs for a shampoo and trim, and to steady his nerves he brings his emotional support rat, who also gets a bath and bandana.
Now I’ve seen it all, Karen F.

The dog has an emotional support rat, I love it!
Rats make the *best* pets! Much better to have 2 than one, because they enjoy company and would definitely be lonely otherwise. A teacher friend had 2 rats in her classroom, along with many other animals, and would choose one to put on her shoulder when she walked her kids to the bus in good weather. That rat got lots of attention!
If I could change one thing about rats, it would be their lifespan. Two to three years is Just Too Short of a time!
One of my RAs in college adopted a white rat named Rosie from her psych lab. She lived in Greece, though, and couldn’t bring her home with her so another friend took her at the end of the year.
(I subscribe to all three of The Girl’s channels so I was confused when I saw this post because she didn’t post any new videos today, and then I just realized this video is a couple years old.)
With a headline and post like that, that is so not what I was expecting. I’m thinking enh, he brings his toy with him, nothing too unusual about that. Then I’m like, that is not a stuffie!! That is an actual, real life, scurry around, rat. I’m glad the 2 buddies got through bath time okay. Reminds me of the song – Lean on Me. “Lean on me, when you’re not strong. And I’ll be your friend, I’ll help you carry on”
Sweet Sully–I’m so glad he could have Benny there to help.
