So cute and clever to use a spice rack as stairs. Little puppy’s waddle going up is too adorable.
His toy is bigger than him!
I about died from the sweetness.
Kait deserves the Nobel Peace Prize. Anyone who can train a cat to take pills that calmly could save humanity. That is stunning! It also proves that, yes, you can train cats! Its just very different than dogs. It took five years, but I can trim Butch’s claws without him freaking out. I only had time to skim the pictures and watch the video, will have to spend more time this evening looking if she gave more details. I hope so.
I had a roommate with a cat who would lie on his back and let you trim his claws. After each paw you’d put a treat right on him and he’d eat it off his tummy like an otter. Apparently the trick is to, from when they’re young, manipulate their paws while they’re receiving affection and/or their favorite snack.
I miss that little void.
Twenty years ago, I had a darling void who needed medication every day. He quickly became super-chill about it, even in the days before Churu. When I needed cat-sitting, people were amazed that they could “pill” Gaufie so easily.
So many bittersweet stories. I’m glad the departed pets had so much happiness in their lives.
I had a diabetic cat who would come when called to get his insulin injection and then got a treat but a cat that sits calmly and willingly swallows his pills? Mind officially blown.
you know your puppy is small when his “steps” are a spice rack organizer. And that lil waddle, just ded.
FYI,
Its Capybara Appreciation Day.
Personally, I appreciate capybaras every day. Especially when they’re bebehs and/or want neck scritchies.
Amen. Every day is Capybara Appreciation Day!
A year old??? Already? And still such a perfect princess.
I find it kind of touching that the Canadian Geese stay near the gosling. Attempting to recover the little one.
Canada Geese.
