And finally: Duck Down
Murray C. shares a duckling learning to slide.
So glad Nylah found help before she had her kittens.
Can’t believe that duck actually jumped before sliding!
We need a longer version of that little girl with her duck friend. Did they go back up the slide again and again? This was too cute.
Lots of onion-cutting with today’s stories! They’re fantastic. I love that little girl and her duckling, and Nylah’s adorable family.
Wow – how lucky the time capsule creator left something that was found by someone who a) knew what it was, and b) knew what to do with it!
Note to selves: don’t leave digital files in time capsules.
Peeps – I’m in So Cal with family and not to be too braggy to east coast folks, but it dry, dry dry! Such a relief! We went to the Huntington Library yesterday for belated Birthday Tea for my niece. It was lovely. The roses are in full bloom niece had a wonderful time. I take my dad’s wife to the airport today and then we have a week together. Looking forward to reading posts, but as I’m three hours off of my normal schedule, I might be lurking this week. ❤️ to you all.
Huntington Library is so beautiful! I used to go to conferences there and always loved wandering the grounds.
Have a wonderful time with your family.
Every time I see suggestions of taking pictures of sentimental items and getting rid of the item, I wonder how long those pictures will be readable. Eventually the tech will be outdated. Unless you print the pictures which kind of defeats the purpose of decluttering things…
Have the pictures printed in one of those memory books. My BFF is making one of Duckie’s pictures for my Christmas present.
