Love the striping on the chicks.
Emu chicks are adorable!
I too love the racing stripes! Also they look very cuddly.
Lucy and Ethel! Is anybody else waiting for the wine-making episode? Or the chocolate factory episode?
Both of those episodes are hysterical! I wonder how many times they had to shoot them?๐
Vitameatavegemin!
I once worked in a chocolate factory. I’ll never forget the time when the top and bottom layers of boxed chocolates got out of synch and I had to dump the excess on a plastic shelf, causing the whole thing to collapse on the production line…
It will be interesting once the chicks become taller than the “moms”
That’s what I came here to say. It’s one thing when a brood parasite like a cuckoo grows up to be a LITTLE bigger than its (involuntary adoptive) parents, but this will take it to an entirely new level. Like a chihuahua fostering a St. Bernard.
There’s a farm a couple towns over that I used to pass on my way to work years ago that raises emus. Usually you only see at most a few adults out in the field closer to the road. You never see actual babies (I assume they stay up near the barn, which you can’t really see from the road), but sometimes you do see younger ones.
