I’m rooting for the kitty…
I can’t watch this. I learned the hard way how dangerous (as in life-threatening) swallowing a ribbon or string can be for a cat. Presumably it’s not all that great for a dog, either. I won’t go into details; it’s upsetting. I was lucky. After several days, Mookie passed the ribbon he had swallowed, without needing surgery. But it was a VERY anxious time.

I was lucky, and so was he, the little dickens. I’ll never forget waking up to poop-on-a-rope. You wouldn’t think anyone could be so happy to see -💩-💩-💩-, but I was!
It was a long time ago, but I’ve been super careful not to leave string, ribbons, rubber bands, or anything like that lying around ever since.
Never seen a dog play with a ribbon like that! Cats, yes, and that kitty wanted it badly. Love when Buddy stood and just looked down at kitty like “this is not yours!”

I agree with Ricky & Bibi’s mom, though, about the dangers of ribbons. Safety first.
I make sure my cats only get to play with their string toys when I’m on the other end of the string and can make sure nothing gets chewed off and swallowed. I trust Buddy’s person was right there on top of things while videoing….
