Early opossum gets the best fruits!
“An opossum and a hummingbird walk into a fruit bar” sounds like the setup to a bad joke . . .
Glad I didn’t play at a faster speed, or I’d have missed the hummingbird! I have finally joined Team Opossum, and this little one is a cutie.
Had to go back and watch it on youtube in a bigger window to catch the hummingbird. I kept thinking I saw it and then was like, no that’s a leaf…
Mike’s first line put Hall & Oats’ “Maneater” in my head and now I’m trying to compose a possum-themed parody…

She’ll only come out at night
The lean and hungry type
Daytime is new, I haven’t seen her here before
…
Oh-oh, here she comes
Watch out, lime, she’ll chew you up
Oh-oh, here she comes
She’s a fruit-eater

(didn’t know they ate citrus fruits…)
(Side note, that song came out when I was seven and since I was little I have always listened to the radio to go to sleep. When they played it, it would keep me up because I thought it was about a man-eating monster or something. 👹)
I too have had an earworm all day. I was much older than you when that song came out, and I was a big H&O fan back in the day.
