Creeping Christmas

The changes were subtle at first, but Ollie’s intuition told him something was happening. Sparkly lights in strange places. Tinsel where there would normally not be tinsel. Soon he could no longer deny the truth: It was beginning to look a lot like Christmas.

A cat stares at a wicker pole with a string of sparkling light wrapped around it.
Must be some sort of vine.

    Ollie is clearly plotting mischief.

I’m sure he’ll knock it down in no time.

Who here remembers the Cutetropolis wall calendar that had December photos of Trees vs Cats or something similar. I remember one was like the blinking lights are sending out the code for invasion. It was the funniest dang thing and kept reading it in Winston Churchill’s voice. And I agree that the tree isn’t going to last very long vs. Ollie.

I think I have a couple calendars at home. I’ll have to look later.

I’m pretty much a Grinch when it comes to Christmas so I don’t mind not having a tree I prefer cats anyway.
