Happy Christmas Eve to all those who celebrate.
Happy Christmas Eve to you too and everyone else who celebrates 🙂
I didn’t get to yesterday’s posts until very late, so a belated thank you for asking about Jacques. He is doing much better. I think he was overmedicated on thyroid meds. He now has a renal medication along with gabapentin. He seems to have more energy and less pain – always good. But the less pain means he can climb on top of the toaster oven much more easily! 😆 But he is still here and I love him to bits and I’ll take it. ❤️
Glad to hear he is doing well.
I am glad to hear Jacques is doing so much better!
Merry Christmas Eve, folks.
I love the frog baking. I might have shared this before but it reminds me of Ann Reardon’s tiny kitchen.
I love Ann Reardon! My favorite is the tiny eggs episode:

Sorry – not sure why it didn’t make a link. Try #2:
Yes! I wish she’d do them more often; she hasn’t done one in a while.
Happy Christmas Eve! The falling snow has made this week’s post very festive. I always love the frog videos. I’m always curious how the video gets made but I think it’ll be like looking behind the curtain in the Wizard of Oz so I’ll just be dazzled by the magic.
Happy Christmas Eve! However you celebrate the turning of the year, enjoy!
I want to go live with those knitted frogs. They’ve got it made.
Bali is adorable. His appreciation for music hit me in all the feels.
Merry Christmas Eve!
Please enjoy this cat singing Christmas carols:
That’s fantastic.
Baby penguins, in fact most baby birbs, are ridiculously floofy. I just want to gently hug them.
Hi All, It’s raining cats and dogs in So Cal. I’m still sitting here in my jammies and will spend the day finishing my nephew’s sock, wrapping gifts, helping my dad wrap a gift for his wife, and any other things that might come up.
I took my niece and nephew (7 and 10) to see a Christmas Carol yesterday and while the production was wonderful (!) it was also way over their heads. They struggled with the English accents and consequently the slow parts. A friend told me I should have them watch the Muppets version. Maybe they should have watched that first? I don’t know. The theater is u-shaped seating with the stage coming right out into the space so I could see most of the audience, and I was heartened that my niece and nephew weren’t the only youngsters squirming in their seats. I guess if you grow up with media where you can get up any time you want and not miss anything, that makes it hard for them to sit still for two hours.
And I met my sister’s new dogs yesterday and boy are they sweet and cute. I’ll be sure to take pictures. She calls them Dweedledum and Dweedle-way-to-smart. It’s about right. I’m excited to share their stories with you.
“Dweedledum and Dweedle-way-to-smart” 😄 I love it!
Tbh I would also have difficulty sitting for 2 hours even if what I can see is entertaining.
If someone has a lot of energy and high movement needs, cinema, theatre and anything where you cannot move around a bit is not easy. What I want to say is – it’s not necessarily a modern kid phenomenon, it could be down to different movement needs?
Here’s a too-cute trio getting their first baths.
