A9 found a mama cat introducing her kitten to their kitten.

I’m amazed how Ozzy the ducky made a complete recovery, kudos to the lady who took care of him a lot of people would have written him off.
I guess “high” chair is relative…
If you can fit inside a mason jar, that’s now your high chair.
Personal favorite was the upside down mask she used to create a support sling to help him.
I’m back on the east coast and I know that cold is relative but when you go from 75F to 32F (with a windchill that makes it feel like 20F) in a 5 hour plane flight, that’s an adjustment! It was a nice flight though. I used miles to upgrade to more legroom and then the middle seat was empty. Yay! Having that extra room makes a huge difference in comfort level. I also broke down (read swallowed my pride) and asked the Gen Z darling in the aisle seat how to get on the plane’s free wifi. She was very kind and patient about helping me – but it sure felt like shades of helping my parents – with me being the one needing help 😆.
My work is closed this week so I hope to get a lot of things taken care of. First thing to do today is run errands like groceries and drop of two bottles of California wine to the hero neighbor who stepped in to watch the boys at the. very. last. minute. Since Trader Joe’s doesn’t sell alcohol in their Pennsylvania stores, I brought a bottle from their diamond reserve – for fun. My dad’s wife and I split our own bottle (to be sure it was okay) and it’s not too shabby. I also brought another bottle, just in case.
The boys are all fine and were even better after they each got their own Churu tube. Jacques is keeping my lap nice and warm at the moment, but Swee’Pea and Butch have also made their cuddle needs a priority. I sure missed them.
Sorry for the long post, it feels like a Saturday ;). I hope everyone is having a good day!
Wish it felt like Saturday for me!
Welcome home. I’m glad the cats aren’t giving you the cold shoulder–because it’s cold enough for you already!
How is Squirt doing?
Thanks! Yes, I’m glad not to be ignored as well. I think offering the favorite treat first thing in the door is key.
Squirt is adjusting very well. He and Gingko are good friends. He’s gained quite a bit of weight which is good. Still does not like to be held. Okay – maybe evetually he’ll come around.
Kitten vs. kitten has me going “awwwwwwwwwwww”. So does the sweet pup who finally find a home. Looking forward to longer videos later.
Charmed by duckling.
Just met Ozzy and Sawyer–good thing I waited until work was done, because I’m now just a pile of goo.
