And finally: Capys on the March!
DC Cindy found this unusual parade.

I would visit Milwaukee just to stay at that hotel, to meet Millie and Sadie. Dogs really do bring people together.
Also I want to live where capys roam the streets at night.
Talk about a mother-child reunion for the peenk piglet.
I think that we’ve seen that night parade before. I’ve heard of the Hawaiian Night Marchers, these are definitely cuter.
Field to trip to Milwaukee, anyone? Millie and Sadie remind me of the dog at the funeral home when my uncle died. One of the funeral directors had brought him in that day, and we were able to play with him in the lobby. It was definitely therapeutic. And he was very well trained and knew he was not allowed to go past the doorway of the viewing rooms. Even when his ball accidentally rolled into the room he stopped at the door and waited for someone to roll it back. And he looked like a Muppet. 😊
I was saving this for Caturday but since we have capybaras today… My friend was at the Amazing Animals sanctuary in St. Cloud, Florida last week and she got to pet a capybara!!! And a sloth. And hold a small python (her younger son likes reptiles and she told him she would hold whatever he did; luckily for her the bigger snake was not an option).
From today’s WeRateDogs daily email:
Happy Friday! I wanted to share a snippet from the Thoughts of Dog calendar that really resonated with me this week:
“lots of things are happening. but take a deep breath. remain calm. pet dog. second deep breath. i love you.”
I actually have this one on my cubicle wall from a few years ago, right in my line of sight.
