I don’t know about you but this one freaks me out a little.
Four-eyes. 👓
Hilariously meta.
I feel like quokkas are like capybaras, in that the babies just look like mini-adults, instead of having rounder baby features like a lot of animals do.
A paw in a paw! It’s pawception!

Love the striking kitties–they gave me some much-needed chuckles. Also Peamer and her new human! Looking forward to quokka hops later.
Baby quokka is so stinkin’ cute!!
Hope everyone did ok with yesterday’s storm. I was expecting to be sore this morning from all the shoveling, but apparently not!
The “I’m a fluffy T-Rex” quokka pose gets me every time.
Oh the sweet kitties! I looked at a few of his other photo lists – pretty entertaining.
I’m done shoveling MY sidewalk and am now thawing in bed with Butch on my lap. The developers on either side of me have done zip. I watched a guy walking with ski poles/hiking poles and I thought, brilliant! I’ll dig mine out later today. Will probably need them all week. My car is covered in ice and I can’t find my scraper. There is a little sun peaking through clouds, taking things easy today, laundry, cooking, and kitty cuddles.
Allein, was your dad able to fix the furnace?
Yeah, the furnace is good. My car is clear and my dad backed it out a bit so we can get to my mom’s car. There is 22 inches of snow in the space between our two cars (my dad’s is in the garage and my mom and I pulled up close to the door and as far to the right as possible; her right-side wheels are actually on the grass. But there was only about a foot or so between us so the snow piled up in there. And my fancy heat-amplifying gloves seem to work pretty well. I wonder if they make socks. My dad used the snowblower on the walkway and the rest of the driveway (well, most of it; he only cleared enough to back my car up for now). But the guy down the street came with his ATV and plowed it a couple times yesterday so it’s only a few inches deep.
I wanted to measure the snow on top of my mom’s car because it will be the most accurate, since the roof wasn’t cleared off at all yesterday, but I can’t get close enough to reach.
My boss recommended hiking poles, since our parking lot can get really icy. I still feel the after-effects of that fall I took THREE YEARS AGO! So I’ve got the poles sitting on my back seat, ready and waiting for snowy walking.
or they could spread salt rock on their parking lot. Probably too late for a nice worker’s comp suit.
I think Colorado bans most snow melts. The company did change some of its policies around snow removal after my fall, and Workers Comp paid for everything.
I think I had one of those headbands when I was a kid…
I would love to have a friendly cuddly polar bear like Brody.
I have added the second cat to my punctuation marks list.
Baby quokka has rendered me useless for the rest of the day.
I had to go back and check which one you meant and yes !! LOL!!
Kind of a “bummer of a birthmark” moment. I laughed so hard at this one.
Also the quokkas destroyed me too.
Stay warm and safe folks.
I cannot imagine what you feed a 140 lb dog. I guess anything he wants.
