I thought yes a new anipal to had to the Cutetropolis family!
But after I looked up black and rufous sengi it turns out to be an elephant shrew which I already knew about but they are extremely cute whatever you call them especially the way they drink upside down from their mother.

Same reaction here. Thanks for looking that up! Now I want a sengi in the worst way (of course).

Wow, so much cuteness so early. Poppy and Panther are utterly adorable, so sweet I won’t need sugar in my tea today. Glad they were adopted together, I mean who could separate them??? And of course the opossum story comes from Australia. If the animals aren’t trying to kill you, they’re being too dang cute. The opossum was probably a little confused wondering why the others were being standoffish and not talking to him, lol. The Canadian kitty better watch out, ya just never know with border agents. Don’t want to end up who knows where. The snootlets!!! Talk about teeny! And like Georgiana, I was intrigued about this “new” species until the Great Google said they were elephant shrews. Then I’m like, oh yeah, that’s what they are.

Well there goes my brain. Adorable rascals breaking laws and social norms; cuddly kittens; snootlets. I should just clock out now.

Border-jumping kitty had better look out for M-ICE.

Snootlets! (Like others, I recognized them as elephant shrews, but I think Snootlets is a better name.)
Poor possum. Glad they were returned to their home.

I love the possum among the stuffed animals. Happy to be in the right spot with everyone else, even though theyโre strangely quiet.
