Anyone that has a cat and is packing for a trip knows to always check twice before closing their suitcase!!
One of these things is not like the others…
This is how my morning is so far:
It wasn’t supposed to rain, it’s raining.
I was going to ride my bike, can’t ride my bike in the rain.
Went to the subway, my train was “1” minute away for 10 minutes due to Fire activity at the next station. All trains were rerouted to the eastbound side of the tracks. Took half an hour for my 10 minute ride.
Let’s see what else the day has in store for me. 🤣
Glad I’m not the only one- the universe has been out to get me this whole week! I’m driving across the state today to visit family. On Friday my car decided to start making scary noises. Couldn’t get it in until Monday, then the mechanics couldn’t hear the noise. Finally got them to hear it but they weren’t able to repair it until yesterday. Nothing like cutting it close! And that’s just one of many things.
(And it’s going to be snowing in the mountain pass, so everyone please send me your good driving juju! I left my snow tires on, just for this reason.)
Sorry to both of you! The universe should treat you better–you deserve it.
thanks you two – Safe travels SoccerSue!
I’m having cataract surgery today. In two weeks
I’ll have my second surgery. Yay! All the better to see these lovely kitties, pups, etc!
Good luck on your surgery!
Sending you happy thoughts and healing purrs.
Weirdly, I’m actually looking forward to cataract surgery in a few more years–not waiting until my 70s!
Thanks and so far so good
Fingers crossed for you!
My mom got that a few years back. She went from legally blind without her glasses to not needing them. It’s pretty amazing technology.
I hope it goes smoothly!
My dad had that last year, 86, no longer needs glasses. My great aunt also had it when she was 92-ish. She was so mad afterwards – she could see how everyone had aged!
PB Parfait is a purrfect name for the bleping kitty. So happy she found a home. The two senior hua huas always sleeping together is just too sweet, so adorable too! Talk about grabbing the goods and making a get away. Hope the other babies got more lettuce after that.
Love PB Parfait–such a doll, with that bleppy tongue.
The tortoise looked distinctly put out when the cabbage went away. I had to laugh.
