Oh yay! AJ thanks for submitting the wonderful story of the rescued dog out of New Zealand! I saw it too and hoped someone else had time to submit it. Just heart warming.

I swear those sticky roller fur pick-up thingy are coated with catnip because that’s what happens every time I try to use one!
Stars LOVED to be rolled with the lint roller. She could hear it being taken out of the closet in the living room and would come running, even from the other end of the house. And if you held it close enough but didn’t roll her she would butt her head up against it.
She also knew when my dad took Parmesan cheese out of the fridge.
Cats have excellent, if selective, hearing.
I love this one. The one on the right is delightfully goofy looking next to his serious siblings.

I’m so relieved to hear that Jonathan is still alive. It’s amazing to think that he was born (well, hatched) in the same year as Johannes Brahms, Alfred Nobel, and Edwin Booth!
Cat is just so cat. Even thought I would have gotten annoyed and put kitty on the floor after the first few minutes, lol. Love the pet portraits, got all the details including the nose freckles in this one
