They’re calling engine kitty a calico but with that ‘tude, I’d say it’s a tortie. Hopefully it ended up in a wonderful home and the only adventures it’ll have is pouncing on toys and climbing the cat tower.
Love the duck supporting the soccer team. Viva Mexico!!!! I’m of two minds with the swan video. It’s great he’s letting them use his backyard for nesting but I just don’t know about him feeding them. There wasn’t info in there whether he feeds them daily or just as a supplement. He says he doesn’t pet them yet there’s a part of the video where he is petting them. So what’s the deal? And why is he taking wild swans to the vet? Sorry for nuffing but I believe that if an animal is wild then let it be wild, and the best thing is to only intervene when necessary.
How on earth is a musk ox so cute! It’s almost like a cartoon! I guess I’ve never seen one in action. And my goodness, we need to get him a new ball stat! He looks so sad that his fun friend is flattened.
Not just cute but a provider of the world’s most expensive fiber! I’ve spun qiviut before in teensy amounts because of its cost.
We’ll add that to our list.

Ha! we both went to the same thought! I had to look up qiviut to remind myself of how expensive it is. What did you make with the spun yarn?
For non-knitters reading this comment – qiviut is yarn made from the musk ox undercoat and it’s $150/ball (about 200 yards). A typical sweater ranges from 1000-1500yards, depending on pattern and your size. That is a cost prohibitive project! But apparently the fiber is softer than cashmere? Maybe someday…
