Baby heffalumps!!! I adore these babies! Poor newbie, that last step is a doozy. And mud! And water! Definitely having fun.

I want to be with the baby heffalumps. It would be so much nicer than the endless ton of *$&! &%*@ I’ve been having to deal with since the end of June.
Are you still taking care of your relative? That sounded like a truly good deed.
Not quite so much in person any more, but spending time every day on various admin tasks related to their care and feeding. And lots of other blankety-blank stuff has happened since, requiring me to wrestle with still more flavors of bureaucracy. I know that on balance I’m a very lucky person; all the same, I’m tired.
