It was you had to wait an hour after eating before swimming when I was a kid, I wonder who came out with this first.
That was the rule when I was a kid too.
Same here. We never listened to it.
My parents told me after I was older and had pointed out that the pool water was only three feet deep, that they adhered to the rule so that I would help with the dishes before going in.
