“Just six more [seals] to go!” took me a second…😄
Okay, been 10 minutes of thinking and I still don’t get it?
think that this is a reference to the classic movie, “The Seventh Seal” by Ingmar Bergman.
a fun movie about plague, destiny, fatalism and the end of the world.
Thanks!
Sounds like a blast! (I’ve never actually seen it, but cultural osmosis eventually kicked in.)
Had to watch it for my Black Death class, iconic for the Death character but overall, not impressive.
Just life being nasty, brutish and short.
Hilariously referenced in the second Bill and Ted movie too–can’t recall the name of the sequel.
Bill and Ted’s Bogus Journey.
Yes I have the first two movies saved in my memory.
“Strange things are afoot at the Circle K.”
Death: You sank my battleship!
You may be a king or a little street sweeper but sooner or later you dance with the Reaper! 😉
It’s one of those films that’s very much for a specific kind of person. I enjoyed it a lot, though I’m not exactly itchin for a rewatch.
Poor bunny, why don’t people just take their pets to a shelter if they can’t take care of them anymore instead of just abandoning them outside to suffer alone.
Why are humans so inhuman sometimes? It makes me mad and sad.
See below⏬️
Ah the silly seal made landfall near where I work.
Did you see it? Can you go see it now that it’s safe? Tell him I said hi!
Did not see him, but he is safe at Mystic Aquarium getting fat. We think he came for our world famous pizzas
Anatole and his cat sibs look so happy together!
Rexie has amazing star power.
Love the wombat story, of course.
Birb smackdown is adorable. And I want to high-five that pom!
“Rexie has amazing star power.”
And amazing teefs!
And a fantastic sense of style!
I hope when Death comes for me, it is this cute.
👍🏼bottom left corner!
He needs to model for Precious Moments®
Of course, I love💙 Anatole! What a cute bun! It’s good he was found when he was; domestic buns just don’t do well when abandoned this way. Why? Cos they aren’t outside buns! Very different from American Cottontails!
So glad he is friendly with cats, it will make him more adoptable firstly.👍🏼

I wish people wouldn’t kick out their buns when they don’t want them. Please drop them at a shelter! Even more importantly, don’t get any pet until you are emotionally and financially ready for one. Pets are expensive, if they are being taken care of correctly. NEVER buy a pet just for a child! You have to want to take care of it too, because kids are not physically or financially able to take care of a pet! As a teacher, I heard waaaaaaay too many stories of poorly abandoned pets.😔
The Northern Hairy-nosed Wombat: “…but as soon as you take them out of the wild and into a captive environment, they do not feed on anything that is provided. They just sit in the corner and starve to death.”
They are also quite large—70 pounds and 3.3 feet long! Very interesting article!
Their size astonished me. I was thinking cat-sized. Definitely more of a bulldozer!
The seal made the Late Show!!
Meanwhile…
Hurrah! I wouldn’t mind a seal in my hotel room.
i can’t help but wonder how it worked the elevator and ordered the pay per view.
