The Air B&B story is just weird. 1. If I showed up to find a large dog I was expected to take care of, I’d be demanding a refund and staying somewhere else. 2. The owner doesn’t seem to know if it’s a he or she. If it’s real, the owner is extremely irresponsible.

Is it just me, or is the narration on the wombat story really annoying? Also, does anyone else think it’s odd that the little girl gets much bigger but the wombat doesn’t? I feel like something’s wrong with that story. Wombats, however, are still adorable. And so is the little girl.
Cat glow-up is amazing.
On the one hand, a LOT of cute stories on the internet are either completely made up, or attached to videos of unrelated footage cut together to seem relevant.
On the other, wombats never really stop growing, and can live for decades. I have no idea how gradually they grow.
I’ve been seeing truly bizarre videos on my YouTube feed, that seem AI generated. The visuals don’t match the narration at all, and the stories are all about someone letting a wild animal into the house on a very cold night, and the critter just curls up by the fireplace. Really stupid/dangerous stuff.
If the people making those (or making the bots that make them) cared about how their actions affected the world they wouldn’t be making AI spam. It’s incredibly frustrating.

I’ve heard the guy’s voice and seen this little girl before in wombat videos. Whoever put this together was not the original poster. Person gathered up a bunch of photos from the same source, regardless of what time it was, and strung them together. The link below shows a recent vid from this family, who rescues wombats.

I try not to police people’s voices, since that is antithetical to my professional mission. But I have a feeling that narration is artificial. Phooey on that.

I kind of liked the doggy story? I was starting to think about how I could let the Air B&B I’m renting this summer (in the mountains) know I’ll pay extra to have a dog that will go hiking with me.

unfortunately think that the glue was deliberate but thankfully he recovered as is a happy, fluffy housecat now.
Unbelievable is the before and after pics! What the heck! Don’t know how he got in that much glue, but by his thinness, he was close to dying. I can’t imagine the hours it must have taken to clean him. So glad he was a foster fail!
