Pelicans do look like pterodactyls, I have to admit they freak me out a little.
There are white ones on the reservoirs where I walk, at least in the summertime. I love seeing them, but of course I keep my distance!
These birds prove that birds are descended from dinosaurs. Found a fascinating story on the sisters who run the bird rescue. Seems the rescue is called Twinnies and they’re very close twins.

With all the babies being born at my local zoo, I might need to schedule a visit soon to see them up close. Beautiful cat with those markings, someone commented he also has an upside down heart on his nose.
