I have a similar reaction to rainy nights–curl up in bed and just enjoy the sound of the rain. I don’t think I snore, though, and certainly not so adorably.
Labs–at least the lines that make good working dogs–absolutely *thrive* when you give them a job. Being a professional snuffler must be like a gift from on high lol.
I love that story so much. Also the rescue pig who loves gingerbread. It’s wonderful to see rescues, and helpful rescues are a great way to encourage adoptions.

Such great stories today. I thought the little girl’s dad was our favorite down under wombat rescuer and he was! Glad that Stormy had the best start in life and is now living free. I can only imagine Ashlee’s stories at school but then again it’s Australia so maybe raising wombats, etc at your house is normal there, lol. I was really hoping they would just let the pigs loose and we’d see them rampaging through the gingerbread like Godzilla. I saw a video (maybe here?) that showed Disney sending all their gingerbread to the bees for them to use. Squirrel was too cute with it’s lil snores and snuffles. Good thing there was a nice shelter for them to get out of that rain, poor baby was just so wet.
Wombat girl did not disappoint. I want to have her life.
