Swan landing is very cool!
Yes indeed. Though I grew up around swans, I don’t know that I’ve ever seen them land. Or at least I didn’t notice their cool method.
We had some on the lake at my college but I never saw them flying.
Was this last part in the sheep story the other day?

“On a perfectly ordinary day in Germany, about 50 sheep decided to run a few errands.
They wandered into a Penny supermarket in Borken, calmly browsed the aisles, and lingered for about 20 minutes before heading back out. No chaos. No sprinting. Just quiet curiosity and very good manners.
The sheep had been part of a much larger flock being moved to their winter home when a handful got distracted by acorns. Then they spotted a shopper heading into the store with a bag that looked promising. One by one, the curious crew followed.
Inside, they explored the checkout area, knocked over a few displays, and generally did their best in a space very much not designed for sheep. Customers and staff said they were gentle and polite the whole time.
When they were done, the flock exited single-file and waited patiently in the parking lot for their shepherd.
And Penny’s response? Instead of charging for damages, the store offered to cover food for all 50 sheep for an entire year. A thank-you for the most unexpected marketing moment they could have imagined.“
I’ve seen many videos of doggy daycare buses on YouTube, the dogs always run to get on the bus and look so happy, I never looked that happy getting on the school bus.
What I love most about Larry is that whoever temporarily lives at 10 Downing Street doesn’t get to decide if he stays or not, I think there would be a revolt in England if a new PM decided to try to oust him because they don’t like cats.
