Ravens (and crows) can tell humans apart, and teach their young which individuals are trustworthy or dangerous. We’ve probably all seen or read about people leaving treats out for crows and the crows leaving gifts in return. They clearly have well-developed social intelligence, an ability to empathize with others, and a sense of fairness. I’d be shocked if the wolves didn’t get something out of the relationship, like using the crows as an alarm system.
I love the swimming lessons so much. That diver is a lucky person.

I saw them at the Wool Market last weekend! Not nearly so fluffy as this, because I think it’s dangerous to the bun for the fur to get so big. They’re just adorable.
