This Mother’s Day I’d like to say
You’ve helped me grow in every way
You cheered me up when I was sad
And taught me calm when I was mad
Today I say these words so true:
The best of me is all from you
Before you I will bow and stoop
To give your nose a loving boop
I strut my butt, and I’ll tell you what
When you’ve got a booty it’s your civic duty
To walk the walks and shake those ‘tocks
And haul your hocks around the block
When your behind is well defined
Don’t hide your posterior in the interior
Go get some air in that derriere
And strut your butt like you just don’t care!

She finds any old cap is just fine for a nap
When she sees a bonnet she’ll nap right upon it
She can sleep in a toque and not rise ’til awoke
Some rest in a boater will recharge her motor
Give her a chapeau and to Dreamland she’ll go
Put her in a trilby and sleeping she will be
She’s asleep in a Stetson the moment she gets in
Show her a fedora, she’ll climb in and snore-a
Sleep in a sombrero? If it’s not too narrow
A snooze in a helmet? That challenge is well met
A hat for a cowboy? It’s her cradle now, boy
Yes, any old top is a fine place to plop
If it sits on a head, then it’s this wombat’s bed
