Teller Is Well!

Just prior to yesterday’s technical unpleasantness, I was working on a post with some very good news from reader Muppet2171 about the biopsy results of our friend Teller:

BENIGN!! Woohoo! He lives to ignore me another day. However, he has to be coned for another week or so, so he’s sulking a bit. Can’t say I blame him. Thanks again for everyone’s wonderful words for my baby boy!

Teller’s Getting Weller!

Great news, everyone! Teller, beloved cat of reader Muppet2171, is recovering well from his recent medical procedure and wearing the Cone of Shame:

He’s not happy with his new accessory. He doesn’t think blue is his color. He’s also ticked I haven’t removed it yet. He actively avoided me Monday evening and most of Tuesday. Still a couple weeks on the biopsy results, but he’s purring again!

That’s not purring, I’m vibrating with rage.

Heavy is the Head that Wears the Cone

Gentlemen, today is indeed a sad day here at the Jowl Society, for today we learn that our own Brother Louie has returned to us wearing the Cone of Shame. As if this indignity were not enough, we further learn that he is, to put it delicately, no longer whole. Friends, who among us would turn his back on our brother in his hour of loss and sorrow? Shall we stoop to petty mockery of his affliction? Eventually we will, sure, but right now let’s have a moment of silence and then open the bar.
