Looking back on the incident, I can see some error on my part. I was caught up in the heat of the moment and should have known better. In my defense, however, it was awfully unsportsmanlike for the squirrel to dive into the bramble like that.
Mistakes Were Made
Screen Dork
As she stood in embarrassed silence on the patio, listening to the chattering laughter from within the trees, Enid was forced to admit to herself that the squirrels had punked her yet again.

Time for a Kit-Kat!
“Sorry, we’re out of Kit-Kats. Also we’re out of Reese’s, Almond Joys, Baby Ruths and those little bags of trail mix have been on back order for weeks. And I haven’t seen a Zagnut bar in I don’t know how long. They still even make those?”
What a nutty thing to do, Cheryl S.
I See This as a Growth Moment
“Now I know this looks bad, but hear me out here. This is my fault, not gonna lie to you, because I respect you too much for that. And that’s what this moment is about: Respect. You work hard to keep a clean home; I respect that. You don’t deserve the extra work of cleaning up after my mistakes; I respect that too. So I will clean this mess up myself, because that shows the respect you deserve.”
Looks like doggo’s pulled this before, Sharon H.
