Along with the normal Caturday cuteness, I wanted to post this picture sent in by Brigita P. from Croatia. It’s from a poster for a play based on a Franz Kafka book, about a foreigner caught up in misadventures in America. Just because.

That is a really clever poster. I especially like the tiny bowler hat on the mousie.
Great poster. And also…we’ve reached Croatia! Hi Brigita P.!
FYI, my site statistics as we approach the first full month of this site show that this blog has been read in 39 different countries, although North America (USA/Canada) makes up the largest bloc by far. Croatia has logged five visits, and I’m going to guess they’re all from Brigita. Thank you, Brigita!
I am SO not surprised, NTMTOM. Your humor translates worldwide!
Pinky: What’re we going to do tonight, Brain?
Brain: Same thing we do every night, Pinky…try to take over the world! 😀
I used to have two white mice named Pinky and The Brain. Loved to watch them eat cheerios. It was like they had little donuts.
That’s adorable – I can totally picture them!
Thanks NTMTOM. The five visits don’t seem like much but I often leave my laptop either in sleep or in hibernate mode instead of shutting it down all the way. I love this site so much I’m on it every day since discovering it (refresh it every day at least once) and have read every post.
The comment section here is one of the best I’ve found too and I love that you can reply directly to a comment. I also like the snow I can manipulate a bit with my mouse (thanks to the commenter who gave the tip).
NTMTOM hope you can share some site statistics. It would be interesting for us all to see your version of the cute touch hearts all over the interwebs.
Hi to Night Owl in Croatia.
NTMTOM
Congratulations.
I hope you realize both how amazing it is to reach so many in such a short time, and how Well Deserved that accomplishment is.
Hi there. Here Brigita (aka Night Owl).
I started following CO years ago (still am sometime) and now I’m here from the start. I’m mostly a lurker (don’t comment much) but I love both sites (especially this one) and the comments here (wish Oakley would join).
Thanks NTMTOM for posting my submission. I had no idea I’m the only one from Croatia.
Welcome and thanks, Night Owl!
Hi to Night Owl from New England! It’s warm here in December so we are confused… but not unhappy about it 🙂
Not surprised at the traffic here, NTMTOM. It is a WONDERFUL site!!!!
Hi! My family moved to New York from Croatia when I was three months old, MANY years ago.
So somewhere in the middle of cats’ tail 😀
I see they gave you an croatian name. I have extended family in New York too. And Chicago, in Florida, … somewhere in south America, in Australia and of course all over Europe (all over Croatia, Bosnia and Hercegovina -where I’m originally from-, Germany -where I lived and went to school for four years-, Switzerland,…) and that’s only the part I either positively know of or am in contact with. Reason for that: mostly the war in the 1990s in which my dad got killed.
I’m sorry about your Dad. My mother and I followed the war very closely. Heartbreaking. I thought you’d recognize the name, but I use it as a middle name. It would have been too strange a first name back then in New York. I would have been teased. My younger cousin uses Jelena. Times have changed.
Very clever.
Is that Cuba trying to avoid the American fat cats just waiting to pounce now that the geopolitical impasse has been broken?
I think it’s probably suppose to be Hawaii (hat) and Alaska (mouse) at least that’s where they usually put those states on maps.
