It’s another peaceful day at the beach, and lifeguard Maru surveys the shore for signs of trouble, when — what’s this? — a shiba inu washes up on the shore! With no time to lose, Maru rushes in to revive the pup, rhythmically chanting “out goes the bad air, in comes the cat hair.” Alas, it is no use, and after minutes of frantic kneading, Maru returns to the lifeguard shack for another piña colada.
Loved him on “Baywatch,” Andrew Y.
This too!
Lazy Saturday XD
Two peas in a pod.
Looks like they’re both washed up.
Out with the bad air, in with the cat hair!!!??? LOL
The heroic lifeguard makes no rescue moves without his binky.
I love how Maru always carries that thing on the string after he’s caught it — looks like a binky.
I suspect it’s a new, hi-tech medical device cunningly disguised as a ladybird so as to calm the fears of nervous patients.
I much prefer the British “ladybird” to the American “ladybug” — it just sounds more pleasant. It also reminds me of fields of Texas bluebonnets, which are totally gorgeous and amazing, because Ladybird Johnson, our former first lady, pushed the theory “Beautify America” and convinced states to plant wildflowers (or permit them to spread) onto road verges, saving months on mowing alongside roads and giving us lovely flowers to look at instead of just mowed grass. If you’ve never seen a field utterly buried in bluebonnets, rich blue against the green grass background, you really should put it on your bucket list — it’s one of the prettiest sights in the entire U.S.!
Mike, you’ve got me ROFLMAOing again.
Maru, do you like pina coladas and getting caught in the rain? We’re perfect for each other!
I also adore the shiba inu pillow–great eyebrow dots!
