In the world of Dogdom, they are the elite of the elite, small in size yet mighty in stature. They are the stalwart soldiers of the 101st Rubber Sandal Brigade, known as the “Croc Dachs.” Shown here in their dress white helmets, they are always ready to defend dogs wherever the mission takes them.
The “blue crocs” are a peacekeeping force, working to maintain order within hostile cat communities.
Their dark “stealth” helmets render them virtually undetectable for night missions.
I thought the 101st was the “Screaming Beagles.” :V

The only acceptable use of crocs.
They’re basically the perfect footwear for nurses. Comfortable to stand in, hard wearing, and you can run em through the dishwasher.
What I don’t understand is the one on the stealthy dog at the end, which appears to have cloth elements, soundly defeating the purpose that made the appearance tolerable. I just don’t get it.
Aren’t they technically banned in hospitals because of the holes and slippery sole violating safety rules? The squishy sole is probably as bad as flip flops for foot support.
Yeah, I was just going to comment the same thing, Kermit. Although now that I think of it, I thought I remembered once hearing that there was a version of Crocs made specifically for nurses and other medical professionals – without the holes. Was that ever a thing?
They do make Crocs for nurses – slip-resistant and no holes in the top.

(They also have other styles – sandals, flats, loafers…).
Ok, who downvoted this entry?? I thought it was so hilarious that I laughed til I cried. And somehow these doggos still look dignified with a shoe on their head. Now I’ve got an earworm of the Ballad of the Green Beret stuck in my head.
There are several people who automatically downvote any post featuring animals wearing clothes or hats.
I briefly considered down voting because I felt badly about the dog with the blue croc on its head. The animal’s expression is so intelligent and noble that I thought it was shameful to make a joke of it.
I have 76 Trombones stuck in my head.
Painful…
Ok, I’m a devoted reader but hardly ever comment; however I just had to say that “jaunty marching music” totally made me think of Hrothgar, Chihuahua of Destiny, from Ye Olde Ranch. Possibly my favorite Mike post EVER (well, that and the “Is this all there is?” snow leopard cronching its own tailio). Bwhaha! π
Yes!
I love that snow leopard post.
Me too.
BTW, I am now getting ads for Crocs. π
