The “sharpie” was an overlay from an app called iPatch. I won’t pretend I was brilliant at using it, but it made me laugh—which was the whole idea. (Whenever the app was opened it said “ARRR”!)
The picture underneath was taken the first year I had Ricky. I must say he was looking extra scruffilicious at the time. 🙂

I went to a retirement party today for a coworker, a children’s librarian, who I knew would appreciate my greeting her with “happy talk like a pirate day, ” when I handed her my gift.
All these furbabies are angels to put up with hoomin shenanigans.
